The legendary Hamburg band Groove Aliens is releasing their long awaited project "Music Of The Morphogenetic Fields". These recordings are a time capsule that takes us back to the exciting era of the turn of the millennium. With their unique fusion of crossover, funk, reggae, ska and soul, the Groove Aliens landed in Schanzenpark back then and brought the groove to the city. We spoke to band members Julian "Mzuzu" Romeike and Billy, who told us about their efforts to take the message to the world. However, after an impressive performance at the Markthalle, there was an unexpected break.

"Music Of The Morphogenetic Fields" is a stirring collection of compositions that showcases the versatile range of Groove Aliens. The creaky voice on the microphone and the joy of playing and experimenting are clearly expressed in the tracks. Elements of different styles such as ska, reggae and soul are skillfully fused together to create a unique sound. Artists like Supertramp and Bootsy Collins served as their inspiration, and their influences are recognizable in the songs.
Billy, a member of Groove Aliens, describes the project as follows: "300,000 years back to the Neanderthals, you understand everything as the one." This mysterious message reflects the band's artistic vision and invites listeners to dive deep into the music and find their own meaning within it.

The recordings of "Music Of The Morphogenetic Fields" are a mixture of live recordings and rehearsal room recordings. There are no official studio recordings, which gives the project a raw and authentic feel. Star Out Records has collected the fragments of these recordings and now presents them in the form of an exclusive limited edition cassette.
