Oliver Ohene Dokyi heißt der Mann, sein Pseudonym ist OOD. Er ist eine unaufhaltsame One-Man-Recording-Maschine.
Bei seinem großen Werk haben wir uns auf minimalen Soul der 70iger mit Keyboardbegleitung konzentriert.
OOD ist ein großartiger Drummer und Sänger. Genau darauf basiert seine Musik: Beats und gesangsgetriebenen Melodien.
Prince, gerade im Falsett und Lenny Kravitz sind würdige Vorbilder. Curtis Mayfields positive, spirituelle Energie und Stimmung schimmert durch die ein oder andere Note, aber vor allem durch die ein oder andere Zeile. Yeah.... We're a winner.
